The no-code movement
Twitter is roaring with no-code.
Linkedin? Not so much.
No problem — let me fill you in.
No-code is not a tool. No-code is not software. No-code is an approach.
In fact, there can be tools and software that help you build with no-code.
The approach: building websites, tools, and software without writing a single piece of code.
I love how easy no-code has made it to launch and build simple products.
A couple of my favorite products:
Carrd.co — launch one-page websites for anything
Notion.so — manage content, ideas, client information, plans, and almost anything
Glideapps.com — create an app without writing a single line of code
You can find a list of other great ones here
If you’re building in this space, reply to this email. Would love to invest or help out in any way!
Getting paid $10k to name babies
Here’s an interesting find for the week:
Taylor Humphrey is a professional baby namer.
She did multiple other jobs before she started naming babies.
But have a look at this…
She offers 1:1 consultations (which are fully booked by the way). People go crazy after baby names so she can probably charge anywhere between $400-$1000/hr.
Wouldn’t be surprised if she made mid-to-high six figures a year.
Money is everywhere.
Sahil Bloom on wealth creation & the online game
I have long-term goals with building online and the Time Billionaires brand.
I’m thinking in 10-year chunks.
This is why it’s so important for me to:
Enjoy the process
Both of these things are discussed extensively in the interview.
Don’t try to be everything to everyone
It’s really hard to beat someone who is consistent
It’s better to be a king of one thing versus jack of all trades
Web3 → Web4
That’s it for this week.
See you next week — Aadit
