Hey Time Billionaire — Aadit here.
This week, I’m covering my favorite book that changed my life.
But first:
Books are tricky because there are so many of them. Probably many more than we can read in one lifetime.
Which is why it’s foolish to continuously look for the next best books to read.
I tried it. I overwhelmed myself with content and didn’t have time to apply any of the lessons.
It’s a mistake I see many people making in their 20s.
Instead, do this:
Find great books. And re-read them over and over. You’ll learn something new each time.
Now let’s jump in ↓
Books to read over and over:
$100m offers by Alex Hormozi (my favorite one of the bunch)
What you’ll learn:
How to craft an irresstiable offer
How to make your product so good, prospects will want to pay for it
How to charge a lot more than what you are right now
4-hour work week by Tim Ferris
What you’ll learn:
Story of Tim Ferris (one of the top podcasters in the world)
How Tim went from $40k/year working 80h/week to $40k/mo working 4h/week
How to design your life to suit unpredictable economic times (pandemic, recession)
How to Win friends & influence people by Dale Carnegie
Although the title is average, the book is solid. It doesn’t just teach you how to build friendships but a lot of copywriting tactics to use in business too.
What you’ll learn:
Persuade people to work with you or work for you
Win new clients and business opportunities
Become better and public speaking
If you don’t practice the stuff taught in real life, you’ll get no where.
Atomic Habits by James Clear
What you’ll learn:
How to break goals down into tiny habits
Inspiring case studies of how Olympic gold medalists, CEOs and over-achievers use tiny habits
How to stay productive, motivated and happy
Book I want to check out:
I’ve been thinking about personal finance and investing a lot over the past year.
I’ve heard wonderful things about this book by Morgan Housel to help you navigate wealth, money, and investing:
Psychology of money by Morgan Housel
Win of the week:
Here’s something that fired me up this week.
Khaby is a mega-popular creator on TikTok (140M followers). He’s the dude that won the internet without saying a word. Kind of like modern-day Mr Bean.
And he recently collaborated with the fashion brand, Boss.
It fired me up when he shared this video of how his life has changed through the power of the internet.
That’s it for this week.
See you next Tuesday — Aadit
Really insightful - I definitely feel paralysed by the number of books available, but your mindset sounds really interesting, I think I'll try it! Happy Sexy Millionaire is one book I've gotten a ton of lessons from recently
Great recommendation of books! You said it right; if you don't practice in real life, you won't get anywhere.
Thanks for reinforcing it,
Cheers!
